There are two key strategies to reduce homework hassles. The first, we should set our routine, including when and where homework gets done and second, set up daily schedules for homework. We can do so by following a few easy steps:
1. Find a location in the house where homework will be done.
The right location will depend on us. So, we can discuss with parents and can fix a location. This needs to be a place where you can concentrate and work efficiently.
2.Set up a homework centre. Once you have identified a location, fix it up as a homework centre. There should be a clear workspace large enough to set out all the materials necessary for completing assignments such as pencils, pens, coloured markers, rulers, scissors, a dictionary, graph paper, construction paper, glue and cellophane tape, lined paper, a calculator, spell checker, and, depending on your requirements, a computer or laptop. It will increase your efficiency and save time.
3. Establish a homework time. We should get in the habit of doing homework at the same time every day. The time may vary depending on the individual. It is best to get homework done either before dinner or as early in the evening so that we can have enough sleep time at night and will get up early in the morning for the fresh start of a new day for new learnings in the school.
4.Take breaks in between assignments.
Short breaks can improve our focus and keep the interest level up for the work at hand. Moreover, if we get stuck at any point in our work, taking a short break will help clear our mind to think afresh.
5. Establish a daily homework schedule.
Homework should be completed and revised on time for our consistent performance .
