ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION 2025

New Era Public School, Dwarka organised its Annual Day with much enthusiasm and grandeur on 1 November, 2025, in the school amphitheatre. The theme, " Vivekananda: The Awakening Within." was thoughtfully chosen to take the audience on a captivating and foresighted journey of the life of Swami Vivekanand and his teachings that will hold relevance through the ages.

The event was marked by the gracious presence of our esteemed guests, including Mrs. Usha Chopra, Chairperson of New Era Group of Institutions, Mrs. Vandana Chawla, Director Innovation, New Era Public School, Mayapuri, Mr. Rohit Chopra, Director, New Era Public School, Dwarka and Mrs. Neerja Bhaskar, Principal of New Era Public School, Mayapuri, along with Mrs. Kanwal Kohli, Mrs. Lalita Kharbanda, Mrs. Aarti Mehta and Mrs. Pooja. The event began with the auspicious lamp-lighting ceremony by the esteemed guests, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the spreading of knowledge and wisdom followed by a beautiful rendition of raag puriyadhanashree by the school orchestra, blending classical Indian melody with contemporary harmonies, setting the tone for the evening.

As the day unfolded, the school magazine, Meraki was unveiled and the prize distribution ceremony took place where students excelling in academics, sports, co-curricular activities and regularity to school were recognized. The Chief Guest applauded the students' dedication and the teachers' efforts, motivating everyone to continue pursuing excellence. The esteemed director, Mr. Rohit Chopra, welcomed the guests and highlighted the school's achievements and vision. The evening also witnessed the words of wisdom by Mrs. Vandana Chawla, Director Innovation, New Era Public School, Mayapuri, who lauded the students and teachers for their efforts and shared her thoughts and insights on education, innovation, and the importance of nurturing young minds.

The event further featured inspiring performances, including a choir presentation and a dance performance titled "Swagatam Krishna". The highlight of the day was the magnum opus- “Vivekanand: The Awakening Within” that accentuated the fact that the teachings of Swami Vivekanand can help us address the challenges faced in today’s world, inspiring individuals to pursue spiritual growth and self-awareness. In a fast-paced society, where distractions abound, his philosophy encourages a deeper connection with oneself and the universe. This connection is vital for navigating the complexities of modern life.

The event concluded with a closing address by Dr. Priti Ramendra, Vice Principal, who thanked the parents, teachers and the entire school community for their support and encouragement. Her closing remarks emphasized the importance of respecting time, learning from the past, and working towards a brighter future.

The Annual Day celebration was a resounding success, showcasing the school's commitment to academic excellence, creativity, and character building.
