ANNUAL DAY FUNCTION
(Classes LKG to II)
Annual Day forms an integral part of school activities. School celebrations are not merely festive occasions but vital educational tools that shape the overall development of students. They embrace cultural awareness and mould well-rounded individuals. These events contribute to growth, from academics and creativity to ethics and community involvement. New Era Public School, Dwarka, demonstrates these celebrations’ incredible potential, reflecting a holistic approach to education that transcends textbooks.
On 21 February’25 the pre-primary tiny tots and students of classes I and II of New Era Public School, Dwarka, were all geared up to perform in front of an august gathering, a ballet, titled ‘The Pied Piper of Hamelin’. The school amphitheatre wore a festive look with vibrant theme based decorations.
The occasion was graced with the presence of Mrs Usha Chopra, the esteemed chairperson of New Era Group of Institutions, and Mr Rohit Chopra, Director of New Era Public School, Dwarka. The function commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the traditional lamp, invoking the blessings of the Almighty. The Vice Principal, Ms Priti Ramendra, presented the Annual Report, highlighting the remarkable achievements of the students.
It is an occasion of celebration, felicitation, and festivity when students present not only their wonderful performances but also receive honours for their curricular and co-curricular achievements. The Annual Prize Distribution was a moment of pride and honour for all the winners and achievers of the school. The students were awarded medals and certificates for excellence in academic as well as in co-curricular areas. This recognition not only motivated the recipients but also inspired their peers for excellence. The Chairperson, Mrs Usha Chopra ,addressed the gathering with her motivational words that conveyed to the parents the importance of their children participating in such events.
This was followed by the most awaited program, a ballet- interwoven with dance ,music, and drama based on a very popular story, The Pied Piper Of Hamelin.
What amazing performances by the tiny tots, that left the audience mesmerized! The parents kept cheering for their children who were performing on the stage. The gathering was then addressed by the Director, Mr Rohit Chopra who applauded the flawless performances of the students and the efforts put in by the teachers in making the function a resounding success. The program ended with the Vice Principal proposing the vote of thanks and extending her warm regards to everyone present at the Annual Day function. The event concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem.
