INTERACT CLUB INSTALLATION

New Era Public School, Dwarka had the honour of hosting a momentous event, the installation of Maitri, the Interact Club, in collaboration with Rotary International. This initiative aims to inspire students to engage in social service, foster leadership, and promote a sense of responsibility toward the community.

The ceremony commenced with the felicitation of the guests, followed by the lighting of the lamp and the national anthem. The key moment of the day was charter presentation by the guests to the office bearers, marking the inception of the club, which was followed by the oath taking ceremony of the newly appointed office bearers, who pledged to uphold the values of service and leadership. Ms. Binita Kakkar, a distinguished Rotarian, inspired students with her speech, highlighting the impact of community service on personal growth and societal improvement. The event also featured a melodious presentation by school choir, showcasing their talent and enthusiasm for this new endeavour. The Director, Mr. Rohit Chopra, addressed the students emphasising upon the importance of service and community engagement in holistic education.

The installation of the Community Service Club promises to be a transformative addition to our school. It will provide students with opportunities to engage in meaningful service projects, develop leadership skills, and cultivate a sense of empathy and responsibility. Rotary International’s mentorship ensures the club’s alignment with global standards of community service.
 

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the vice president of the club, Rohan Mysa expressing gratitude to Rotary International, the school management, and all the participants. The establishment of this club is a step toward nurturing compassionate leaders who will contribute positively to society.
