Visit to Kidzania

                         “I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand."

On 7^th December ’24, accompanied by 12 teachers, the students of Primary Wing of the New Era Public School ,Dwarka visited Kidzania, located at Noida. Upon arrival, the students were warmly welcomed by the friendly KidZania staff, who explained the park’s rules and guidelines. Each child was given Kidzos, the park’s currency, to use for various activities and services within KidZania.

Built like a city in itself, is a unique and interactive indoor theme park,Complete with paved roads, battery operated cars, proper buildings, a functioning economy and its own currency. By blending reality with entertainment, it provides an authentic and powerful developmental platform where the students explore and learn about the real-world occupations

It had fire fighters managing an emergency where students learned about fire safety and the responsibilities of firefighters. They participated in a simulated fire rescue operation.  Aspiring doctors and nurses experienced the medical field by performing mock surgeries and learning about patient care. In the  Aviation Academy students took on the roles of pilots and cabin crew. Budding chefs got hands-on experience in cooking and baking, understanding the basics of food preparation and hygiene. The young ones were seen enthusiastically running a pizza store, a beverage factory and a snack plant . Students earned KidZos (KidZania’s currency) by participating in various jobs and could spend their earnings on activities or products within KidZania, teaching them about money management and the value of work. The mini-city environment provided students with a glimpse into how a city functions, including its economy, governance, and infrastructure.The activities were interspersed with a meal at the Kidzania eatery.

 Experiential learning develops skills and competencies of students, making them holistic, life-long learners. It empowers them with the tools to convert information and knowledge into requisite skills that could be employed for success in their professions.” through the exceptional approach of edutainment that amalgamates the vibrancy of childhood along with life-changing experiences of adulthood.

 The visit to KidZania was an incredible and enriching adventure. The excitement was palpable. The students returned back to school with wonderful memories to share with their parents. The excursion strengthened in them the value for dignity of labour. In addition, this trip enabled them to appreciate the contribution of each member of the society and made them reflect upon the challenges faced by each working individual in the real-world. Experiential learning combined with fun element simply  kept them busy for the day .
