REPORT ON PICNIC TO NEHRU PARK
As the weather warmed up and flowers bloomed , on 17th February 2024, the students of the Primary Wing of New Era Public School Dwarka, embarked on an exciting picnic to Nehru Park. The picnic aimed to provide students with an opportunity for outdoor recreation, relaxation, and social interaction outside the school environment.
The day started with an early departure from the school premises. With their bags packed with games and snacks, there was laughter and excitement as the students along with their accompanying teachers boarded the buses to go for the picnic. Upon arrival, the students were greeted by the picturesque surroundings and ample green spaces of the park. Excitement filled the air as students eagerly set up picnic spots, unfurled picnic mats, and unpacked their homemade snacks and lunches. Throughout the day, the students engaged in a variety of recreational activities such as frisbee, football, badminton, and rolling down the mounds. They also enjoyed leisurely walks around the park, exploring its different sections and admiring the diverse flora and fauna. A highlight of the picnic was the delicious lunchtime feast, where students shared their homemade snacks and lunches with each other. This communal dining experience not only fostered a sense of camaraderie but also encouraged students to appreciate and enjoy different cuisines. They also displayed commendable discipline and respect for the environment, adhering to park rules and regulations.
The visit to the park was a memorable one and it motivated the students to take care of their environment and to maintain cleanliness around them. As the picnic drew to a close, students gathered for a group photograph to commemorate the memorable picnic experience. With hearts full of joy and laughter, they boarded the buses for the return journey to school, cherishing the memories created during their day at Nehru Park. It was a wonderful opportunity for all the children to strengthen their bonds and everyone came back to the school rejuvenated.
