FAREWELL 2023- 2024
“Don't be dismayed at goodbyes; a farewell is necessary before you can meet again, and meeting again after moments or lifetimes is certain for those who are friends.”
-Richard Bach
The management, staff, and students of New Era Public School, Dwarka, bid a lively and joyful farewell to the outgoing students of class XII on Tuesday, February 7, 2024. The event was organized by class XI students, who gave their best wishes to their seniors. The ceremony commenced with the hawan and recitation of powerful mantras like the Gayatri Mantra and the chanting of OM by everyone. The Hawan was concluded with an address by the Chairperson, Mrs. Chopra, who inspired the students with her wise words and advised them to be positive and perseverant in all walks of life. After the successful completion of Hawan, students of class XI performed a melodious choir, which was followed by a montage filled with memories of their school life. Everyone cheered and clapped as students of class XI performed their energetic dance performance. After this, the students were awarded titles that suited the qualities that they exhibited in their school years. The students of class XII also participated in some fun games like Guess the Song and Guess the Face, organized by their juniors. These games acted as a stress buster for them, as their board examinations are just around the corner.
The program was concluded by the address of the Director, Mr. Rohit Chopra, who enlightened the students with his inspirational words and advised them to follow the five seconds rule by Mel Robbins while preparing for their board examination. He also narrated a story with the moral that grass is always greener on the other side; hence, it is very important in life that we value the things that we have. Finally, the stage was opened for all, and the students danced blissfully and enjoyed the refreshments. The whole event proved to be a wonderfully arranged goodbye and fun filled session for the students.
