Physical Education is an integral part of the total education system. It helps in the attainment of the ultimate aim of education i.e. the achievement of holistic development . Sports Day is a vibrant celebration of athleticism, teamwork and unbridled enthusiasm. New Era Public School Dwarka celebrated the much awaited Annual Sports day Udyatm -2024,a day charged with the spirit of competition as athletes showcased their prowess in a kaleidoscope of events with fervour and excitement on 3^rd February’24 on the sprawling grounds of the school. The parents of the students were cordially invited to the event.

The event began with the march past by the students of all the four houses around the playground with the rhythm and beating of the drum after which the function was inaugurated by Mrs Usha Chopra, the Chairperson, by lighting the torch followed by the opening address.

Throughout the function, students participated in a diverse range of inter house competitions that featured exhilarating sprints, relays etc that showcased our students’ exceptional speed and agility. There were fun games like the three-legged race, balloon race, hoopla race, the tug -of -war etc. Fun time with parents race added to the enjoyment. Mr Rohit Chopra ,Director NEPS Dwarka, addressed the gathering .He also awarded the trophies and medals to the winners amidst cheers and applause.

The sports day seamlessly blended athleticism with captivating drills, featuring performances by the students that included the Flora Bics Drill, the Yoga drill and the Zumba Drill adding a touch of festivities to the sports day.
