The Republic Day celebrations kindle a feeling of patriotism and brotherhood, which fills our hearts with national pride. The 75th Republic Day was celebrated at the New Era Public School, Dwarka, on the 25th day of January 2024. Classes LKG to 5th took part in various classroom activities such as book-mark making, Essay writing, quiz, painting, etc. A special assembly was organized by the students to commemorate the occasion. Students proudly celebrated the Indian Constitution that the people of India have given to themselves.
The assembly began with a melodious ensemble singing a patriotic song, followed by a soulful and thought provoking recitation of poem that filled our hearts with patriotism. This was followed by a skit, signifying the importance of the fundamental rights enshrined in the Constitution of India. The performances were concluded after a gracious dance performance by the students.
The Director of the school, Mr. Rohit Chopra, appreciated the students for the hard work that they put into organizing this special assembly, and he reminded the students of the fact that India is one of the youngest nations in the world, with more than 55% of the population below the age of 25, which leaves the youth of the country with a lot of responsibilities. In the end, students sang the national anthem in unison.
