The investiture ceremony, marking the formation of new ‘Student Council’ for the academic session 2024-25 was solemnised at New Era Public School, Dwarka. On 16th January 2024,the esteemed dignitaries, revered faculty members and the cherished students, got together to witness a momentus occasion of transition of leadership from the capable hands of the outgoing school council to the promising new leaders. It was a solemn occasion where the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of the premiership and discharge the functions entrusted to them by the school.

The ceremony commenced by extending a warm welcome to the school’s esteemed Chairperson,Mrs Usha Chopra, whose visionary leadership has played a pivotal role in shaping the success of the New Era Group of Institutions and is an inspiration for everyone and to Mr Rohit Chopra,the Director of NEPS Dwarka whose motivating presence and rock solid support have been instrumental in guiding the institution towards excellence.

The ceremony was to bid farewell to the outgoing student council, who has served with dedication and zeal and to instate and badge the members of the new student council who would be leading all the curricular and co-curricular activities and work with the team effort and bring out new and challenging events with all the success in the upcoming session.

This was followed by the oath taking ceremony whereby the Oath of Office was administered by the school’s Principal, Mrs Kanwal Kohli.

The ceremony took its momentum with an inspiring address by Mrs Usha Chopra, the esteemed Chairperson, followed by Mr Rohit Chopra’s address to the new office bearers.They exhorted them to dispense their duties with sincerity and to bring pride to everyone by upholding the values that the school stands for.

Before concluding the ceremony,the outgoing Head Boy, Ishant Singh, The new Head boy, Rudransh Singh, and the new Head Girl, Pearl Singh, shared their feelings and aspirations through their heartfelt speeches. They promised to fulfil their duties with due diligence to the best of their abilities. This was followed by a melodious rendition of the School Song.

The ceremony ended by congratulating the new council and hoping that they would lead with integrity, passion and dedication. The school stood in unison to sing the National Anthem.
