“If every day were Earth Day, we wouldn’t be in the mess we’re in.”— Neil deGrasse Tyson
New Era Public School, Dwarka organized the ‘Earth Day Celebration’ to sensitize the children to become crusaders for environmental conservation.
A special assembly was conducted on 25th April’23 wherein the students of Grade 5, shared their views about the importance of saving Earth and the measures that can be adopted to save our planet.
They performed a silent skit on Earth Day representing the importance of conservation of trees.
A mellifluous poem was recited by a student dressed up as mother earth urging everybody to protect her.
They also conveyed a special message about the various environmental issues and how all of us can make a difference by making small adjustments in our daily rituals & habits.
A pledge was taken by everybody to conserve our planet.
It was moving and insightful to witness such a strong message on ‘ Save the Environment -Save Earth’ being presented by our little Samaritans through creative group activities.
The assembly concluded with an address by the Principal in which she emphasized the importance of doing our bit to conserve natural resources.
