Founder's Day Celebration

Founder's Day is the day when a thought, a philosophy or a vision is transformed into concrete reality. The philosophy becomes the guiding star for the institution to take form, grow and become an invincible reality as the Chairpersons, Mrs. Usha Chopra and Late Mr. R.L.Chopra laid the foundation stone of New Era Public School on 13th April, 1960 with a vision to become the leading scholastic institution, by providing holistic education to our students. To mark the day, the students and the teachers dressed up in their best attire and celebrated the 63rd Founder’s Day on 12th April, 2023 at New Era Public School, Dwarka with great fervour and zeal. A special assembly was conducted where a plethora of activities were showcased by the students. The event commenced with a hawan to offer prayers to the almighty which was followed by a melodious musical rendition by the school choir . Vice Head-Girl, Aditi Dixit motivated everyone with her beautiful poem. Kindergartners rocked everyone with their marvellous dance performance and the main attraction which was the special dance performance by the senior students, left everyone grooving to the music. The event was concluded with truly inspiring speeches delivered by Hon. Chairperson, Mrs. Usha Chopra, and the Director, Mr. Rohit Chopra who highlighted the importance of education and spoke about various fields and career paths one can opt for. The programme culminated with singing of the National Anthem. Happy Founder's Day to all the New Erians!
