Educational Visit to the Fire Station
Students from Nursery to Class II visited the Sector 6 Fire Station, Dwarka, on 27th of October where they had an exciting and informative learning experience.
The firefighters introduced the children to the fire engine and demonstrated how water hoses are used to extinguish fires, even in distant places. They also explained the importance of emergency alarms, warning signals, and emergency contact numbers.
The children enthusiastically interacted with the Station Master and learned about the roles of emergency service providers, including firefighters, ambulance personnel, and the police. They were also made aware of the importance of giving priority to fire engines on the road to ensure that they can reach emergency locations without delay.
The visit also included an important safety lesson. Children were advised to inform their parents or a trusted adult if they noticed a fire or any emergency. They were taught to move to a safe place, avoid hiding during emergencies, and seek help from adults.
The visit was a wonderful blend of learning and excitement, helping our young learners understand the vital role of firefighters and the importance of fire safety in everyday life.
