FOUNDER’S DAY CELEBRATION

New Era Public School celebrated its Founder’s Day with great enthusiasm and reverence, commemorating the visionary ideals and enduring legacy of its esteemed founders, Mr. R.L. Chopra and Mrs. Usha Chopra. The special assembly was conducted with dignity and warmth, reflecting the core values upon which the institution was established. The comperes warmly welcomed the gathering and reflected upon the remarkable journey of the institution, emphasizing its commitment to nurturing character, consistency, and commitment- the Three C’s that continue to define the ethos of the school.

The assembly paid tribute to the founders whose foresight and dedication laid the foundation of an institution devoted not only to academic excellence but also to the holistic development of students. The audience was reminded of how the school has flourished over the years into a symbol of excellence and responsible education. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Mrs. Usha Chopra, Chairperson of the New Era Group of Institutions, and Mr. Rohit Chopra, Director of the institution. The school also extended a warm welcome to Mrs. Kawal Kohli and Mrs. Lalita Kharbanda.

A soulful choir performance added a melodious charm to the celebration, beautifully capturing the spirit of dreams, courage, and togetherness. This was followed by an energetic dance performance by the students of Classes II and III, whose vibrant presentation enthralled the audience. Adding a literary touch to the event, students presented a heartfelt recitation of the poem Navyug ka Sankalp, conveying powerful emotions and aspirations for a brighter future. The celebration further came alive with a colourful Baisakhi dance performance that showcased the joy, enthusiasm, and rich cultural heritage associated with the festival.

The audience was then addressed by Mrs. Usha Chopra, whose inspiring words motivated students and teachers alike to continue striving for excellence while upholding strong values and integrity. Mr. Rohit Chopra also shared his valuable thoughts, encouraging students to pursue knowledge with dedication and confidence.

The celebration concluded on a reflective note as the hosts expressed gratitude towards the founders and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to carrying forward their vision. The programme came to an end with the singing of the National Anthem, filling the atmosphere with pride and unity. The celebration proved to be a memorable occasion that not only honoured the legacy of the founders but also strengthened the spirit of unity, gratitude, and excellence among all present.
