Republic Day Celebrations
New Era Public School, Dwarka celebrated the 77th Republic Day along with Basant Panchami with great enthusiasm, patriotic spirit, and cultural vibrancy. The event aimed to honour the adoption of the Constitution of India and to celebrate the values of democracy, unity, and national pride.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome of the esteemed Director, Mr. Rohit Chopra, whose presence added grace and inspiration to the occasion. A felicitation ceremony was held to express gratitude and respect for his guidance and leadership.
The significance of Republic Day 2026 was highlighted through the theme “Samrddhi Ka Mantr – Aatmanirbhar Bharat,” emphasizing self-reliance, innovation, sustainable growth, and collective responsibility. The programme also commemorated 150 years of the national song ‘Vande Mataram’, composed by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, marking a historic milestone in India’s cultural heritage.
A patriotic choir performance set the tone for the celebration, filling the atmosphere with national pride and emotional resonance. This was followed by a patriotic poem recitation by Aarvi Rajput and Drishti Udar of Class 7, whose heartfelt performance deeply moved the audience and reinforced the spirit of patriotism.
The cultural segment continued with a mesmerizing dance performance, showcasing India’s rich traditions and the theme of unity in diversity. The graceful movements and energetic presentation reflected the nation’s vibrant culture and artistic excellence.
