CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION 2025
Date/ Day: 14 November, 2025, Friday
Venue: School Ground
The school celebrated Children’s Day with immense joy, warmth, and enthusiasm, honouring the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who believed that children are the nation’s greatest treasure. The programme began with a cheerful welcome by the student anchors, who highlighted the significance of the day and recalled Nehru’s vision for the children of India.
The celebration commenced with the felicitation of students who brought laurels to the school in various events. The winners were honoured by the Director Sir. Students who actively contributed to the Adult Literacy Mission organised by the Interact Club were also recognised and presented with Certificates of Appreciation. Their participation reflected the school’s commitment to social responsibility and community service.
The cultural segment of the programme began with an expressive Hindi poem recited by Ms. Sneha, beautifully capturing the innocence and cheerfulness of childhood. This was followed by an English poem recited by Ms. Rabia, celebrating the imagination, creativity, and wonder that children bring into the world. Adding colour and vibrancy to the day, the students presented a lively and energetic dance performance, which filled the atmosphere with applause and excitement. Their enthusiasm truly embodied the spirit of Children’s Day.
The most awaited part of the celebration was the teacher’s musical performance, where the teachers presented a melodious medley for the students. The environment resonated with warmth, joy, and appreciation as students witnessed their teachers celebrating them with love.
The Director Sir then addressed the students, appreciating their efforts, congratulating the achievers, and encouraging all children to keep shining with confidence, positivity, and purpose. The programme concluded with the students dancing to the beats of lively music. Furthermore, the day was observed as bagless day for the students of classes LKG to VIII, wherein the students got an opportunity to interact with their teachers and peers in a fun way as they played various games. Teachers also organised various hands on activities for students to keep them meaningfully engaged throughout the day.
The Children’s Day celebration was a perfect blend of recognition, creativity, and joy—leaving every student with happy memories and renewed enthusiasm.
