Fancy Dress (LKG-UKG) & Magic Show

Report on Fancy Dress Competition and Magic Show “Clothes make a statement. Costumes tell a story.” “Playing dress up begins at age three and never truly ends.” Scholastic and co-scholastic activities have an equal importance in school programe for the all round development of the child. Keeping this in view, New Era Public School, Dwarka conducted the Fancy Dress Competition on 28th April 2023 for the children of classes LKG and UKG. The purpose of conducting the competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the students by giving them an opportunity to speak in front of their own class mates. Children were dressed in their colourful costumes and spoke a few sentences on the character that they depicted. The effort and hard work of children was highly commendable. Students displayed their talent on the theme ‘My Favourite Cartoon Character’ with great zeal and enthusiasm. They dressed as Daraemon, Mickey Mouse, Chota Bheem etc. and emphasized upon their tremendous hard work and achievements. The judges for the competition were Ms.Geena Hooda and Ms. Archna Budhiraja. The winners were awarded with a certificate and the participants too, were appreciated along with all the winners for their hard work. The competition proved to be great learning experience for the students and gave them a platform to explore their hidden talents and skills. This was followed by a ‘Magic Show’ where the performance of the Magician caught everyone’s imagination. The venue reverberated with thunderous applause. It was a unique experience. Each one enjoyed every moment of this captivating show.
