Humourous Poetry Recitation Competition

An Inter-House Humourous Poetry Recitation Competition was conducted to hone the oratory skills of students of classes III-V on 31st January, 2019. With their brilliant expressions, the participants had the audience bursting in laughter throughout their performances. The students were lauded for the way they presented their performances in groups of three with one student from each class. The First and Second Prizes were bagged by Rig Veda House and Yajur Veda House respectively.

    Quiz Competition (LKG to Class II) 

    A Competition makes one to strive to do better. Winning doesn’t always mean being first, winning means you are doing better than, you have done before. Quiz Competitions are always interesting and informative, which provide excitement among the students to improve their general knowledge. Our school organized Quiz Competition for students of LKG and UKG and Inter House Quiz Competition for students of Class I and II. Four different teams participated from both the groups. It was interesting four round competition, including objective questions with options round, ring the bell round and audio-visual round, which engaged the teams and the audience.

      Republic Day @ NEPS Dwarka

      New Era Public School Dwarka reverberated with zeal and patriotism as the school celebrated the 70th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm. Students presented patriotic songs as well as a dance performance displaying unity in diversity. A skit was also presented to highlight how we must respect and celebrate our independence and constitution, for which many great leaders have sacrificed their lives for. The Chairperson, Mrs. Usha Chopra, and the Director, Mr. Rohit Chopra, addressed the students on the importance of taking pride in our country, and becoming a responsible citizen. 

        Bidding Adieu to the Class of 2019

        New Era Public School Dwarka organized a hawan to seek the blessings of the almighty for the success of students of classes X and XII in the upcoming board examinations. The Chairperson, Mrs. Usha Chopra, addressed the students with her words of wisdom, guiding students to persevere and deliver their best in the examinations.

        Grade XI organized a fun filled farewell party for the graduating batch of 2019. The cultural extravaganza comprised of XI graders singing a soulful medley on friendship, which was followed by an electrifying bhangra performance. Each student was also felicitated with titles, celebrating exclusive and distinctive traits they possess. Interesting games were also played to keep the spirits high, which was followed by a zestful jam session to celebrate the occasion.

         

          Honours Ceremony for Class XII 2018-19 batch

          Celebrating their wings of preparedness to take on their independent flight of life, the Honours Ceremony was organized at New Era Public School Dwarka, to bid adieu to the graduating batch of 2019. The ceremony was attended by the Chairperson of the school, Mrs. Usha Chopra, the Director, Mr. Rohit Chopra, the Principal, staff, students of class XII and their parents.

          The Chairperson and the Director bestowed their blessings upon the students, wishing them luck for their journey of life ahead. The year-book ‘Memoirs’, carrying memories and best wishes for the students penned by their mentors, was then released by the Chairperson.

          The Principal read out citations for each student, highlighting the qualities that make each of them unique. Students were also awarded with proficiency certificates in academic and cocurricular domains.

          The ceremony concluded with a candle-lighting ceremony, which symbolize how each student would take forth the ethos and values of the school, that shall guide them at every turn in life.

            Investiture Ceremony 2019-20  -  Leaders in the Making

            The newly elected student council of New Era Public School Dwarka, pledged to take on their leadership roles with panache on 21st January 2019. The outgoing badge holders passed on their duties to their successors, as Mrs. Usha Chopra, the Chairperson of the school, felicitated the new prefects with badges and sashes. The house captains, sports and co-curricular captains marched gracefully showcasing their pride in their new designations.

            The ceremony was solemnized with congratulatory and encouraging words by the school Chairperson, Mrs. Usha Chopra and the Director, Mr. Rohit Chopra. The Head Girl and the Head Boy of the school also shared how ecstatic they are to be serving their tenure with such esteemed roles.
