An Attempt Towards Inclusiveness

As an inclusive institution, New Era Public School Dwarka took another step to bring the specially-abled at par with the rest of the society. In collaboration with Fynet Sports, the school organized a Special Sports Day for the differently-abled students of Delhi/NCR.

Mr. Sukhvinder Singh, Sr Manager Air India, and current Chairman of the Selection Committee of U-19 and U-16 Delhi cricket teams, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The school’s Director, Mr. Rohit Chopra declared the meet open, which was followed by exciting drills and races which were enjoyed the most by the young enthusiasts.

The theme of the event was ‘All are Winners' to instil the belief amidst the children that each of them has the caliber to conquer the world. All the participants were awarded gold medals by the Chief Guest, the Director and the school’s Chairperson, Mrs. Usha Chopra. It indeed reaffirmed students' faith in their abilities.

    Annual Day 2017 @ NEPS Dwarka

    New Era Public School Dwarka celebrated its Annual Day on 7th December 2017 in the school amphitheatre. Pomp and splendour accorded honour to the theme of the show, ‘Miley Sur Mera Tumhara’, which laid emphasis on establishing amity amongst nations, and addressing the world as a single family.
    Students from classes UKG to XI assembled a resplendent pageant of art, music, dance and drama, which was highly appreciated by the audience. The cultural extravaganza commenced with the lamp lighting ceremony, followed by the prayer ‘Make me a channel of your peace’ by the school choir.

    The school band also played a rendition of the theme song, which proved to be a splendid beginning. The academic, co-curricular and sports achievers from the academic year 2016-17 were also felicitated.

    Mrs. Usha Chopra, Chairperson, Mr. Rohit Chopra, Director and Mrs. Vandana Chawla, Principal-NEPS Mayapuri, addressed the gathering while reinforcing the importance of perseverance and education as means to attain success in life.

    Prize distribution ceremony was followed by the ballet wherein children depicted the importance of staying united at family, community, national and global level. The show witnessed a stupendous finale where children sang ‘We are the World’, vowing to be the changemakers in the society. Mrs. Kanwal Kohli, the school Principal, delivered the vote of thanks at the end of the programme.
